A Group for Members who want to get together with other Members to participate in Classic European Racing

ABOUT THIS GROUP

The goal of this European Classic Racing Group is simple:

To convert friends in a virtual environment into real life friendships by meeting one another in one of the many Classic Racing circuits in Europe or in the United Kingdom.
The possibility to share costs such as accommodations, or Racing entry fees.
The possibility of becoming a co-driver or a Rally navigator in some of the longer events.
To try and organize for the Members of this Group a 3-4 day motoring trip in Normandy, France. All expenses of such a trip would be split amongst the participants.
As above for the United Kingdom.

The success of this Group is obviously going to depend on the number of Members who join. More importantly COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION. I wonder if anyone here has any experience of/or interest in the 2013 "LM Story", which I understand is being offered as similar to the Le Mans Classic Event, which of course runs only in even years - 2012, 2014, 2016 etc. The dates that I have for the LM Story are 6th and 7th July 2013, some 2/3 weeks after the 24HR of Le Mans Race. I am seriously considering attending this Event. All ideas/info welcome.

This group is a very good idea, as it is expected, that members will be interested in either to form a group for the drive and or meet each other at the events and have a good time.

This summer Jean Francois-Huguet, David Wright and I had the opportunity to meet at Le Mans Classic. It was fascinating to meet Facebook friends. It was so easy to initiate a conversation, as we already kind of knew each other.
